I have look up to many black American baseball player; David Ortiz, Jose Reyes, and many more. But I’m going to talk about a famous Hall Of Famer Jackie Robinson.

Jackie Robinson was born in January 13, 1919, Cairo Georgia. Jackie Robinson didn’t also baseball but he also plays football, basketball, and track. Jackie Robinson Graduated from John Muir Technical High School and went to Pasadena Community College. In 1940, he transfers to the Community of College. Also in 1942, he went to the army and served there for 2 years.

While he left the army in 1944, he wanted to play baseball. But at that time, he had it to play in the Negro League and the Latin League. So he played in the Negro League and play in the Kansas City Monarchs. In 1945, the Brooklyn Dodgers manager approach to Robinson and ask him if he wants to play with the Brooklyn dodger. So he signs in the Brooklyn dodger minor league to see if Jackie Robinson is good. Then Manger liked Jackie Robinson and signs him into a term.

So while he was playing with the Brooklyn Dodgers, there were so many white people in the ballpark and they use 2 mock him like; you suck ugly Negro, You Dirty Black American. So every time he heard all of those words, after the game he will go 2 the locker room and cry. So finally in 1949, he spoke out to the white people and he attacks the Jim Crow Laws in the south and spoke out to the southern hotels and ball parks.

I have really like Jackie Robinson History because he broke the MLB (Major League Baseball) color record; he played for the Negro league, Latin league, and the American league, and I really like baseball so he was kind of like a hero to me. Jackie Robinson was smart, and athletic, and made a major history in baseball.

So Jackie Robinson played in many sports but he really loves baseball, he was brave to speak out the white people in the south, and was also inducted to the hall of fame in baseball. But on October 24, 1972, he died of a heart attack. He was very famous to me and many people that are black and love baseball.

Decent job Alex. Your essay did contain many grammar errors and the paragraphs were a bit short. Overall, the page the good.
